This
was a fun but very tedious project. I was given a photo of the
site and rendered several options of the new pedestrian
barrier and railing. The roadway, trees and sky
in this image are real. the bridge railings and
barrier (and the girl walking) were PhotoShopped
in using an assortment of sketches and images.
For the 2 images above I created the railing in
SketchUP to get the angles right.
In the end I switched the barrier and the railings
and gave the engineer 2 extra versions showing
the combination I thought would look best. The
client went with a variation on one of those options.
